Review content:
On July 1st, 2013 I purchased a cell phone listed by Cell Phone Recovery ER, on Craigslist. I was in Lawton, OK so I called the store in Edmond to purchase the phone. I was told the phone was not put together yet so I needed to call the next day. The following day I called and paid for the phone. But I was also told the phone was not put together yet, but assured it would be sent to me in Florida in a day or two. Two weeks later I received the phone. Upon trying to activate the phone I was told by Verizon that the phone was reported lost or stolen and unable to activate. I called cell phone recovery ER and told them what had happened. They said to send the phone back to them and they would send me another phone. Two more weeks later (one month after purchasing the original phone) I received the second phone in the mail. After opening the envelope I immediately took it to a cell phone repair store here in Orlando because I could not get the phone to work. The cell phone repair store here in Orlando told me the LCD screen was not working and needed replaced; the power button was not working; and there was water damage. Instead of sending this phone back to Cell Phone Recovery ER in Edmond (because of the trouble I had already had with them), I chose to have the phone repaired locally. After having the phone repaired I was told that the phone also has extensive water damage. For two weeks the phone continued to randomly turn off. I sent the phone back to Cell Phone Recovery ER asking for a full refund. I was told no by Cell Phone Recovery ER, because I had the phone repaired locally and I had not notified them immediately after receiving the second phone. They also said the phone checked out before they sent it to me and I could have easily damaged the phone once I received it. There is no way that this phone checked out before they sent it to me. Maybe a small amount of damage in the mail is possible, but not a LCD screen, power button and water damage. I would not recommend this store to anyone because of the incredibly poor customer service and treating the consumer terribly.
