We realized a while ago that the existing windows in our home should be replaced. Several of them were starting to rot and we have been experiencing an increasingly amount of moisture buildup in the winter in a number of windows throughout the house. We solicited a total of 4 estimates, one from a company that we have seen do a number of replacements in our neighborhood and a couple of others based on reputation. A friend recommended we contact Slamans Construction as they had used them on a number of occasions and couldn't say enough good things about them. The owner, Tim Slamans came to our home to discuss the project and in a short time gave us multiple estimates for different options. His estimate was very competitive and so our decision came down to the fact that we felt of all the companies that we spoke with, that he was the one we felt most comfortable with. Just a feeling. Tim came back for a second meeting and brought the rep for the windows we had chosen in order to get the correct sizing and requirements and left that day with a down payment and mentioned that it would be sometime in February when he would start based on the window delivery and weather. Well, we were very surprised and pleased that he called in mid January and said he would be able to start immediately. We set a start date and on the day, Tim and his crew were there exactly when they said they would be and began the process. They finished the initial installation in the 2 days they said they would. Everyone in the crew was extremely polite and very respectful of our home, family and the animals !!! Tim's finishing and staining contractors worked all sorts of hours in order to finish up as soon as possible! We could not have been more pleased with the job. We found everyone's professionalism and work ethics to be second to none. One of the finest contractors we have had working for us and we will certainly be contacting them again for other upcoming projects \r
