Just out of college with limited money, tried to buy my first new car. Told them no cosigner possible. They said they'd try to get me financing. Signed all the papers, handed them my check (all my money). They called back two days later saying I'd need a cosigner. I told them that wouldn't work, and asked them to rip up the check. Instead they cashed it and made me wait two weeks for them to pay me back...holding up my purchase. No apologies...just attitude and lecture about how anybody would need a cosigner. Bought a Chevy with no cosigner the day after these sharks returned my money.
