Seat belt warning light kept coming on when all belts were used, when two were used, and when one (driver's) was used so I thought it was a systematic problem affecting the entire accident protection system. Mechanical Tech (Steve) told me that if I left home and light was on to come by the shop with it on and he would use diagnostics to find problem. I did this a couple of times but the crazy warning light would go out in the shop parking lot or before I got there. After around 4 months the warning light became permanent, was there upon start, remained on during use, and was on at shutdown. Finally, it was on when shutdown was done, and was on when started so I drove straight to the shop. Steve was there and moderately busy so he had time to fit diagnostics in. Received a 6110 code on driver's seatbelt. I had to pay a $60 diagnostics charge which is $199 at Acura/Honda. It has a lifetime warranty at Acura/Honda, but, if it isn't a failed seatbelt and is something else, they charge as much as $200 for diagnostics plus the repair. So I paid $60 for diagnostics to discover free service code protecting me from a $200 charge for uncovered diagnostics at Acura/Honda, and then got the repair service free at Acura. I'm mostly convinced that I won in this, but, I'm too busy to really think it through, and Einstein is dead!!
