Dr. Siman, I would say I love you if it weren't completely inappropriate. But I do. I seriously have a hard time writing this just because he has one of the biggest hearts and I fear the injustice of words. Thinking about Dr. Siman makes me think about vague philosophical questions -- questions like if I possessed absolute power, would I morph into an evil despot, or in more rational terms, if I were tremendously successful at my trade, would I still consider the 'little people'? That's the sort of stuff I think about as I sit in his chair. Simply because Dr. Siman has the power of the latter, and still, he somehow, someway, manages to consider this tiny me with a big heart, without me having the ability to so much as intimate my big heart and all its desires to pay it forward. It's people like him, who see people without needing the narrative, for caring for them from the get-go, that in turn, teach me in ways unspoken. Anyway, thank you. A hundred, thousand times, until I fear its exhaustion, thank you.
