Review content:
Although very friendly and quick they do not pay attention to the client or to the vehicle they are working on.\r \r I went to this facility on two separate occasions and after each visit oil was leaking from my oil filter.\r \r First visit I did not notice I had a problem until smoke came up from under my hood a couple of months later. Inspecting the smoke I noticed that oil had leaked all over my chasse, oil pan and manifold causing the smoke. It was resolved with a quick turn of the filter.\r \r Second visit I informed the manager of the prior visit and asked if they could clean up the oil that had leaked between first visit and second and then double-check that the filter was tight when finished. I received a, “You got it!”.\r \r Three days after visit I noticed an extensive amount of smoke coming from my hood. Oil was leaking yet again. And the oil I asked them to clean up prior was not done either. I took the time to get under my car, clean up the oil (which was extensive), and then tighten my filter BY HAND two entire 360-degree turns. After finished I drove my car to accumulate pressure in the engine and then inspected the area and found no further problem or leakage.\r \r I then contacted management and explained situation so this didn’t happen to the next customer. The owner of the facility tried to re-direct problem and blame something else on the vehicle after I informed them of steps taken and the resolution. After a couple of correspondences I informed the owner that I was not looking for any type of retribution or monetary exchange. Only that they pay more attention to the details of their job. The owner then apologized for his misunderstanding of our conversation but I never received an apology for the job that was done on my vehicle or the inconvenience in correcting a job that I paid a so-called professional to accomplish on two different occasions.\r \r My recommendation is that if you do take your vehicle to ANY American Oil Express you may want to take the extra time to have them double-check their work right in front of you because once you leave you are on your own.\r \r Thank you\r
