I never visited City Island before last night. what a surprise, the place is right out of a Rockwell painting.\r
so charming.. I asked a local which restauarnt I should eat at. He said the only place to eat on CIty Island was Sammy's. Just to be sure a asked two other people and to my amazement they both recommended Sammy's. so of course I eat at there. The food was so wonderful, even better than my favorite manhattan seafood restauarant. I will be back. I had the biggest and most delicious giant king crab legs I have ever seen or eaten.. They were unbelievable. My wife had a fried seafood combination that was great, giant shrinp as well as a selection of just fried right seafood, By the way, we both had froaxzen Pina Coladas that would make trader Vic's proud...
Pros: cozy palce with 5 star food
Cons: nothing tha I can think of!
