Review content:
I contacted this jeweler via e-mail when my husband and I were designing a special ring last yr. Initially, I found them very helpful. However...the price they quoted me was almost 3 x's the other jewelers I spoke to in the Richmond, DC and Baltimore area. So I explained this to ""Denny"" and thanked him for his time. I was a little surprised when he responded by asking the name of the jeweler I had chosen...but let it go.\r

This yr, my mom decided she wanted to give me her engagement ring because she no longer wore it and it needed a new setting. I saw something I liked on the DS of VA site so I contacted them again. I was REALLY surprised by the response this time around! Denny replied immediately and with definite snark! He found attached my e-mail from 6 MONTHS before. And then he essentially told me I should read it again, because nothing had changed. He wouldn't even acknowledge the questions in my e-mail or give me an estimate. \r

Dealing with Denny was more like dealing with a jealous ex boyfriend than a professional. \r
\r
So apparently they are happy to help...as long as your not a discerning shopper.
