I was thrilled to be able to see a Dr. at the last minute, I was slightly concerned about the wait time though, as they like to cram the appts. together and your sitting there for an hour. My first impression when I walked in was disarray. It was noisy, people hurrying everywhere. When I made it to the front desk the attendant was cold and calculated...fill this out, sign here, go sit over there. I wasn't sitting for long before I heard my name announced over a loud speaker, telling me to go to room 7. First off, my name was incorrect and second off, a name announcement? What happened to the nurse calling your name and greeting you with a Hello, how are you? I truly felt like I was in a Cook County Hospital. The wait was normal before the nurse came in and did her thing. The Dr. followed shortly. He did his job and listened to my ailments, perscribed medication and off I went. The whole experience felt very impersonal. I will be looking for a Dr. that seems to take a personal interest in my overall well being. Its seems a daunting search. Pros: Availability Cons: Poor personal attention
