After using Mission Maids for the past few years to clean a couple of vacation rentals I own, I was for the most part satisfied - and have had very few complaints from my tenants. Over the past three months or so things have really gone down hill. The crew kept forgetting to put supplies in the units and really stopped paying attention to detail while cleaning - missing picture ledges, window sills, and everything above 5 feet off the ground.\r

I called the owner Peter each time and was promised that things would get back on track. Yesterday, after telling Peter that I needed the property to be extra clean - I received the complaint below (email to Peter is first)\r

Peter - The quality of the work done at my property is just not up to par. Below is an email string with the most recent complaints. Because this has been a recurring problem, I'm sorry to inform you that I can no longer depend on your service and need to hire another company. Please cancel all future scheduled cleanings. Thanks\r

I received this message yesterday ofter tenant checked-in:\r
-Thanks John. Is there any soap- hand, dish, or dishwasher- in the apartment? Also the crevices of the red sofa are quite dirty- we actually found two candy wrappers wedged in the back and lots of crumbs- as well as the floor underneath the sofa. Was a bit of a shock since everything else seems pristine. Oh and we just noticed that the top of the fridge has cake crumbs and candy sprinkles and sticky frosting all over it. Might want to mention it to whoever cleans the apartment. In addition, we just found moldy coffee grounds and an old filter it the coffee maker - Gross! -
