Review content:
I recently tried Beaumont Smiles $39 new patient special, but had a hard time getting them to honor it. They take more x-rays than any other dentist I've ever visited. Which I thought was good at first, then discovered they were trying to find everything possibly wrong with my teeth. (But I have straight teeth ,and haven't had a cavity since I was 6-yrs-old.) The dentist examined my teeth, before they were cleaned--very weird! Then, the high pressure guerilla sales began. My bill went from $39 to almost $1,100. For one tiny cavity? They couldn't clean my teeth right without a $200 sanding first, antibiotic spray under my gums, fluoride, and more. Plus, did I want to be referred to an orthodontist (for my straight teeth)? \r \r When I decided to ""think about"" all the other charges, I was forced to sign a waiver, which they left on a computer screen in front of me (Until I turned off the power button... Wink... when the hygienist left to tell the rude office manager I wasn't going to agree to all the other charges.) \r \r Then, I got the worse teeth cleaning of my life! She was beyond rough. It seemed like she was so mad, she was trying to purposely break my teeth, as she complained the entire time. The hygienist kept telling me when you get old, things start to fall apart. (I'm 40ish, not ready to check into the old folk’s retirement village just yet. My mind is still sharp, and can spot a scam when I hear one!) She didn't even use mouthwash, how cheap! \r \r If you go to Beaumont Smiles, you won't leave smiling. Instead, you'll be leaving with a very bad taste in your mouth.\r \r PS-I'm having my tiny little cavity filled by another dentist... SMILE!\r Pros: Location Cons: Bait and Switch
