These apartments are seriously the worst. They charge you every single thing they can think of. They even threatened to charge me 30 dollars because I didnt tell them the light above our front door was burnt out and 'it created a safety risk.' When I questioned them about this, they then said it was just a warning - but be aware for next time. After that, they started charging us electric overages that we paid a few times. Finally the fees were so high we started asking for copies of the electric bill and the overages mysteriously stopped - even though we started using the AC more consistently. Once, I got locked out of my room and it was 75 dollars to just walk back with a master key and unlock the door. In another incident they over-charged my account and caused me to overdraft - when I brought this to their attention they basically told me it was my fault and I should've read the terms and conditions more closely. They went on to say that they would credit my account for the excess amount, but not the overdraft fee. If you have questions about the charges, they will tell you whatever they can just to get you off the phone and to pay it. They assume all their tenants are college kids who dont know any better and will sneak in charges. Also, the furniture they use is horrible. Everything is very cheaply made - if you touch something, it will break. For example, my bedroom was broken for the majority of the year - they refused to fix it until recently. Do not get tricked into living here!
