My first visit was okay...just a check up when he was a month old. Routine...nothing special.
The second visit...whole other story.
The nurse was awful. She did nothing to let my son know she was going to shove his oral shot into his mouth and when he screamed in fright she didn't even bother to stop. Then when she gave him the shots in his leg she moved the needle in his leg and she didn't care. So I told them she would not be handling my sons visits anymore. The doctors didn't really seem to care about him. He was trying to talk to her and interact with her and she basically ignored him. When I showed up for his next well check I was 5 minutes late. I called ahead of time to let them know. They said that would be fine, they had a 25 minute window. I got there, signed in, waited 45 minutes for them to tell me I would have to reschedule because I was late. When I protested they insisted.....so I scheduled with Lowcountry Pediatrics...I have never looked back!!!
