Star Hyundai service seems great when you are covered under warranty, but under closer inspection they only do the minimum to fix your problem. Take my ac as an example. During the 5 years warranty time I owned my brand new Sonata I took it in almost every Summer because the air started coming out hot. The ac was doing this since the beggining. Hyundai never bothered to replace any parts. They just charged it up and charged me again when the freon leaked out again and again. Finally when my 5 year warranty ran out they then all of a sudden magically came up with 1100 dollars in repairs to fix what they said was a broken fan even though air was blowing in the car, just hot air. Then 2 months later, hot air again and they wanted to replace the condensor and the compressor for 1300 dollars. But why didnt they do that the first repair. Actually why didnt they do that when the car was under warranty and it was still a small leak. No they waited until it was a big leak and no longer covered. Maybe all car manufacturers run the same scam, I wouldn't know, because I have not owned a car from every single manufacturer. Does anyone know a manufacturer who is honest when servicing their car under warranty. It seems like the dealers service centers are instructed not to do expensive repairs on the car while under warranty and to fix the car the cheapest way possible and/or to only do a temporary fix over and over until the warranty runs out and then charge the custormer for the whole part that could have been replaced when the vehicle was under warranty. Star Hyundai does have one very helpful employee whose name I think is Leah, but she unfornately is not the manager or one of the machanics, so the controll she has on the place is very limited, but she is very helpful is giving appointments. Otherwise, as good as Hyundai is becoming at making cars it is still skimpy with servicing its own cars while under warranty and its cars do tend to have things like the eye holder making creaking sounds and Hyundai service will never fix something like that, and that goes for 3 different Hyundai services I went to when the car was only a month old. The cars tend to be noisier then a previous Toyota I had and you tend to feel every bump in the road, although consumer reports did give the new Santa Fe a great review. Take it for what it's worth and just be aware if you have ac problems with a Hyundai, they may never go away entirely until you are footing the bill when your warranty has run out.
