My dog a pit bull was coughing earlier this year and we took her there on a saturday. The doctor told us she had lung worms, but didn't give her an x-ray just assumed. we sat there for over an hour waiting on the doctor to go look up the meds. On Monday we went to our vet got an x-ray it was allergies.\r \r My other dog a boxer/lab had bite wounds all over his legs bc of a fight over a toy. We just walked in and got in a room quickly, the vet told us they weren't serious and should heal quickly and that she'd just cut the hair around 2 or 3 of them and send us home with antibiotics. We sat there for almost 2 hours, when they vet asst./tech came back and mentioned the bill was going to be around $320. When my mom gasped, she told us it was so high because they were going to inject him with antibiotics ($180.00) The injection wasn't necessary (my dog wasn't dying) and on top of that the Dr. never discussed it with us. We asked for the pills instead ($60 instead of $180). They took him back to cut the hair away and clean it (10 minutes) and just for that it was $87.00, when Carolina Forest charges around $28.00. I will NEVER go there again!
