Review content:
On the day of arrangements the funeral director when the family is most vulnerable many promises are made regarding buying a certain type of vault to keep the casket and body “protected” from water, decay, varmin etc. Also when I asked – claim was made this vault was much better than the vault I could get from the cemetery and this is what I needed. Prices in ""hind sight"" research are overpriced and during the ""arrangement"" process there is pressure to buy a ""package"" which is overpriced - many promises are made of how this is good for your loved one - but it’s just lines to up sell you. I had to request to see another price list with certain things broken out? In reflecting it was like a shell game as to what shell the price was under.\r No additional information was disclosed about pricing etc. unless a direct question was asked. On the day of the funeral my director was not available, did not call to let us know we were being handed off and sent another director who did not know me have any past history of my family member nor really have any idea what was going on. VERY unprofessional and very poor in the situation. You cannot stop the funeral and have a do over! I tried to call this individual but calls were not returned?? \r When I indicated my displeasure to the funeral director he indicated he would have ""management"" call to discuss with me - but no one called. Repeated calls to management were not returned. When I finally tracked the ""management"" down my concerns were meet with an angry - who cares attitude - when are you sending payment? Payment is all they care about and that is how I was treated when I expressed my family and friends displeasure in the service and products we received - nothing more.\r \r This is my first direct experience with a funeral home and unfortunately I believe that even though the service was subpar - I believe I was taken advantage of during a time of extreme distress in the selection and contract signing portion.\r
