Dr Kristi Funk and the staff at the Pink Lotus Breast Center are a godsend. When I was diagnosed with stage 1 breast cancer a few years ago Dr. Funk was my surgeon. She was amazing - compassionate, super-competent, kind and informative. She helped me through one of the most awful times of my life. She took the time to answer all of my questions, reassure me and make sure that my ""treatment team"" (oncologist, radiologist, etc.) were the best. \r

Dr. Funk's staff is top notch. They are always caring and compassionate. I have had cranky mammogram techs in the past and it's no fun. Not the case with Dr. Funk's staff. AND you get an actual robe instead of one of those scratchy paper gowns. Dr. Funk and her staff know how to treat people, especially when patients are going though what can be devastating and terrifying events in their lives. They even have a buddy system where a new patient can get in touch with someone who's been through the whole breast cancer nightmare, survived it and wants to help someone else.\r

I highly recommend the Pink Lotus Breast Center.
