I would seriously reconsider before relying on Budget Truck Rental on a weekend, particularly if the end of the month falls on or adjacent to that weekend. Budget Truck Rental greatly 'oversells' (their word) at such times, and then when the weekend is approaching and you have your month-in-advance reservation confirmation in-hand, they will simply tell you that they have 'oversold' and won't have any trucks until the following Monday. Too bad, sucks to be you. You have ABSOLUTELY NO RECOURSE! Unlike some other rental companies, Budget does not back up their reservation with any sort of guarantee that provides a financial compensation should they fail to provide a truck. This is not a slam against any particular rental center, but against the regional/national Budget Truck Rental reservation system. Beware. At a minimum I suggest making an alternate reservation with at least one (and perhaps two, just to be safe?) other company in case Budget fails to come through.
