I want to begin this rather long review by stating that I have never met the gentlemen at Advanced Aquatics (AA) in Schaumburg prior to 3/31/10. I am setting up my first saltwater fish tank (in probably at least 20 years. I am pretty sure that I killed all the fish back then). I didn't want to kill any of the new fish that I was planning to acquire. So I called Advanced Aquatics the morning to ask a few questions. \r

I initially spoke with Glenn (the owner). He was very patient with me as I asked my many questions (I feel that I need to highlight this point because I have dealt with other tropical fish stores where I was, to put it bluntly, treated quite rudely, almost - probably more than almost - as if I were a pest. And certain reviews will reveal that I was not the only one to feel this way with these particular businesses).\r
