Review content:
I went in for a neuter and they found that my dog didn't have two of what they needed to neuter him and the surgery to find the other one cost more than a routine neuter. They presented me with an estimate which included pre-surgical bloodwork and a microchip as I didn't think of that and they educated me on the reason why people should microchip their pets and have pre-surgical bloodwork. It turned out that my pet has a problem with its liver and they needed to do their anesthetic differently because the other way could have given my pet some difficulty. I don't know the medical terms but I was shown the bloodwork and saw the high values so I'm glad that I took their advice and had these procedures done. I don't have DVM after my name and I have to trust that the Doctor is doing what is in the best interest of my pet. I love the service that I received at Tierrasanta Veterinary Hospital and would recommend them to anyone.
