Review content:
I had a wonderful evening at Margot three years ago with my wife on our second anniversary. It was a wonderful experience then, and after a two year absence from Nashville ended up there with a friend on a whim for dinner. Reservations are recommended, but we were fortunate enough to be seated immediately upon walking in. Service was impeccable and knowledgeable, ambience was great (European cozy, but not crowded), and then there was the food; we started with a pizza of wild boar salami, red potato, parmesan that could've been a meal. Roasted chicken with potatoes and peas, homemade pasta with rabbit and mushrooms for the main course; housemade mocha ice cream with some kind of sweet wafer. All exceptional. Just simple top quality ingredients prepared right and with care. Very reasonable ($60 for two including a couple of drinks apiece) for a fine-dining but not pretentious night out. Pros: Food, service, wine list, overall cool vibe Cons: Very little, but I'd love some tap beers
