My internist is at Georgetown and I adore her. She is well-versed on what should be the health concerns of people in my demographic, and she's likable too. And because my internist is here, this is where I've come for minor surgery, tests, etc. I've been very happy, for the most part, with Georgetown Hospital. Every physician I've seen appears to be at the top of her or his field, and the nurses are efficient. My only complaint is that since being taken over by a private corporation, I feel as if I am simply a number. You literally must sometimes wait months to get an appointment, and if you have something wrong with you that needs attention quickly, you're limited to the emergency room or a clinic that is not staffed by doctors (although it really isn't bad). Still, if having a good doctor is your priority, this is the place to go.
