Untrustworthy. I recommend avoiding NYKB. They need to be monitored very carefully to make sure that they are complying with your plans, not causing problems with your building and showing up to work. The key terms in my original contract - price and schedule for completion - were way, way, way off the reality. Once your kitchen or bathroom is gutted and you have made several installment payments, they come up with additional costs and you have no leverage to object. Many people I spoke with after hiring them had terrible experiences (just ask your building's super and management company). They are not trustworthy.
