They do not honor reservations: On Sunday, January 22, I completed a reservation for a stay at Homestead Studio Suites located at 10020 Skinner Lake Dr., Jacksonville, Florida, 32246. On 1/28/22, I received an email reminder regarding the reservation. When I arrived at the hotel on 1/29/12 at about 3:00 PM, I was told that my room was not available due to some type of maintenance. I waited about 2 hours for the front desk clerk to check various Extended Stay hotels in the area for availability. It was quite clear that none of the other hotels had rooms available that resembled the one that I reserved. I ended up staying in a smaller room just to end the issue. I left a voice mail for Brooke Bobo and Jason Parks in Guest Relations. Neither one returned my call. I sent emails to the following Extended Stay Hotels/HVM LLC managers:
Brooke Bobo, Dir of Guest Relations - Gary A DeLapp, President and CEO - F. Joseph Rogers, EVP of Accounting and Finance - No one bothered to respond. I am not sure if this problem is isolated to the location at Homestead Studio Suites, 10020 Skinner Lake Dr., Jacksonville, Florida, 32246, but clearly this chain does not honor reservations at all. It’s no wonder to me that this company is experiencing financial problems.
