Review content:
The four wheel drive transfer case went out in my Chevrolet 1500. Cottman Transmission was loctated close to my work and I thought I would talk to them about repairing it. I received an estimate that the transfer case would cost $650 to $1200 to fix. $1200 was only if it was the worst case. After taking the transfer case out they called to tell me that it was worse than the worse case and it would be $1850 and if I didn't want them to fix it it would be $275 to get it back without the transfer case fixed. I went ahead and had them repair it and even after the $1850 the truck is still not fixed. They now tell me the motor for the four wheel needs to be replaced. I was waiting for them to get the motor in (which has taken several days) when I noticed that my gun had been stolen from the truck. If you decide to use these guys keep in mind that it may cost well over what they quote and to get ALL of your personal items out of the vehicle before you take it to them.
