Review content:
I decided to buy a Bosch tankless water heater, but before purchasing it online, I both went to the store and called the store, to check and then double-check that Home Depot could do the installation. Both times I was told they could, and the second time, when I called, I was even given a quote of $998. So I went ahead and ordered the heater. When it arrived, I went down to the store to arrange installation, and found out that they do not, in fact, install tankless water heaters, and the information I had been given was completely wrong. I was told to call a local plumber instead. The local plumber said it would cost between $2000 and $4000 to install the tankless heater and it may not be possible to do it at all, depending on my gas line. Had I known this, I never would have ordered it! Now I am stuck with a water heater I can't use, and the store will not even take it back. I have to pay over $80 for shipping. Needless to say, this is the worst customer service I have experienced in a long time.
