Review content:
AVOID the bait and switch. Often they don't have the car you reserved and will try to get you to upgrade. Insist on the upgrade being free. Also, they will try to ""upsell"" you a bunch of stuff at incredibly ridiculous prices. Finally they will try to get you for alleged ""damages."" Their greed is illustrated by the $250 charge for a lost key. A couple years ago I lost a key for my Mercedes 560 SEL. I had to take the registration to the dealer, they faxed it to Houston, and my key was made and air shipped to me the next day. The cost was $75. So, Enterprise is either outrageously greedy or has the world's worst cost structure (I'm betting on the former). I've used them enough to accumulate 10 free days, but after my last experience I told them to dump the points since I will never use them again. You shouldn't either. If you do, insist on a clean car and check the brakes before you go far, and prepare to feed the guzzlers (they set the engines too rich usually, for reasons I can't figure).
