We did the kitchen and two bathrooms with The Edge Remodeling & Pools. Everyone who was in our home was polite and worked very hard. They all did a nice, thorough job. Things were done in a timely manner. The project manager was really great, too! If there were times when I needed to go out or something, he got back to me right away with some answer and explanation as to how the changes would be accommodated and made up for in the next appointment.
When you do a remodel of anything, you have to have a sense of humor and just be a little bit more willing to accept when things don't go exactly as planned. And yet, as a customer, you do expect someone to tell you what's going on. The Edge delivered on this.
Our manager was actually injured during the job when his back went out. Still, the project didn't miss a beat! By phone, he was still able to contact the people who were supposed to be here. His bosses even came by to check on the job when he couldn't. I really, really liked that. When they were trying to install a shower door for us, they only had one guy available to work. So, one of the owners actually came out to help put it in! No one from The Edge was afraid to make sure that things got done. I've heard a lot of horror stories from people about contractors. With this company, though, it was like they were doing the work for a family member!
We love our kitchen, we love our bathrooms, and we love recommending The Edge to friends. I felt they were WONDERFUL. Everything turned out nicely, at a very reasonable price. What they quoted was basically what it turned out to be in the end. Everything that was going to end up costing a little more was first sent to me as a change order, which I then approved. I knew about any cost changes all along.
