Businiess name:  Cottman Transmission Ctr
Review by:  citysearch c.
Review content:
ok - update on this; the $150 part did not work; I ended up having to have Cottman rebuild the transmission. Anyway 6 months later the transmission is slipping, but guess what - Cottman now cannot find any problems. I am getting ready to take it in to them for another look as it is getting worse. stay tuned...\r \r My local auto mechanic told me I needed a new transmission - $2700. I got 4 other opinions from 4 different transmission shops. One also told me I needed a new transmission; one wanted $170 more (after the free estimate) for further checks; Cottman and one other said replace the sensor. I went with Cottman as Ken Lee (the service manger) seemed very sure of the diagnosis and I saw some good feedback on the web for this location. Well for a bit over $150 I have no more transmission issues. \r
