Christmas Day has to be the hardest day for restaurants with a huge volume of customers. However, the Agave Room at the Desert Diamond Casino in Sahuarita was a terrific choice for us with gourmet food artfully prepared, great service and lovely surroundings. We enjoyed their fantastic prime rib with crispy sauteed veggies, small roasted potatoes, baby spinach salad with sliced mushrooms and bacon bits and a delectable dessert tray. Although they served hundreds that day, each plate was beautifully prepared with generous portions and perfect as ordered. Each server had but four tables so waiters were prompt and caring. Although we had a short wait for our reservations, the resulting meal was well worth the wait! I would recommend this restaurant highly to anyone and they even had free valet parking! Of course, a tip is in order. The price of the meal was not out of line considering that it was Christmas Day and the meal was so great. We'll certainly return!
