I understand there are consequences for a DUI but those are decided by a job not a crooked company! With that said.. Safe Harbor is an absolute scam!!! Their devices are terrible and it seems like purposely sabotaged, their customer or rather said lack of customer service staff are incompetent and rude, their hidden fees are ridiculous. Faulty devices installed, where the Handheld would ask for a re-test and when I would test it would not recognize the test and ask for a re-test, This happened for three minutes straight, forcing me to blow in the machine 15 times before finally accepting. Along with this, 5 times the cord, which is similar to a phone cord was faulty and the machine would slip out and then provided a 5 day countdown to take in, well the problem is I am professional with a 9-5 and there locations are on open 9-5 and closed on weekends making it impossible for me to take it in. Once the machine locked out I called to get an hour bypass code, ahhhh... but of course there is a $35 lockout code fee!!! When I explained myself and inability to make the 9-5 they pretty much said screw you!!! Your problem not mine. Or I can avoid the fee and tow the car down to their shop. .They pretty much tricked and forced me to pay a fee. Faulty equipment.. (on them), lack of open hours (on them), missing work (on me), $35 bypass fee (on me). The worst part about it is that they are a small business not a corporation and there is no one higher to voice your concern too, except to an ignorant manager by the name of Cristina who apparently reports to no one and uses the only phone number provided on their website as a direct to her site. MORAL OF THE STORY... STAY CLEAR OF THE SAFE HARBOR THIEVES!!!! and spread the word about these crooks!!! I am in the process of filing a complaint to the Attorney General and discussing this with my lawyer. I would suggest doing the same.
