For the last 10 years, I have been the proud owner of ONLY VW vehicles. I LOOOVE these cars. Well, never in my 10 years of car buying experience at VW dealerships, I have NEVER before had such a pleasant experience. I ve been having some credit problems as a result of my school loans so I wanted to minimize wasting my time (and spare myself from any humiliation that most dealerships inflict on the credit impaired and I inquired about any help I could get from Galpin via the Galpin VW website. An AWESOME GUY by the name of Neil Stone emailed me back within the hour (8am!!! Neil works HARD!!!) and said that he d look into things for me. By noon, I sent in some preliminary paperwork to him (credit app, etc.) and by the next day, he had a car for me and an incredible offer. No haggling or anything. I told him what I had to offer, what was in my budget and he took care of the rest. I live in the South Bay so I picked my car up a day later and spent about 90 minutes in the dealership signing papers and getting an appraisal on my trade-in. That s unheard of!!! I ve always spent damn near an entire 8-hour shift at a dealership waiting on things to be cemented. My wait can t even be considered a real wait because someone was always checking on me to see if I was thirsty, if I had been helped, and even just a little small talk. It felt like I knew these people in a former life or something they were so nice and genuinely interested in providing REAL CUSTOMER SERVICE.\r
Anyway, I walked out of there with a 2013 VW Jetta, a full maintenance package, and Lojack for less than I was paying for my 2008 VW Passat. For the first time in my life, I walked out of the car dealership feeling lucky and worry-free (as opposed to that sense of doom I usually felt at other dealerships).\r
If you are looking for a deal and to actually be CARED FOR by genuine and honest people, GET IT AT GALPIN!!!!! You will NOT regret it.
