This story may seem unbelievable, but it's absolutely true. I brought in my Macintosh G5 to ship to the manufacturer, a rather expensive model, I might add and the store claims to have no record of ever mailing it.
I was right there when the person at the counter scanned my pre-printed label (directly from Apple) and when I called a couple of weeks later to track the package which hasn't arrived yet, I was told it's nowhere in their records.
The search lasted almost 3 months, going through store managers through regional managers and them searching through each and every paper and computer records, but their final analysis is that they have never received nor sent the package.
What's the result? Apple called me after 3 months & said it was sitting in their wherehouse all along.
Why then did Kinko's deny ever sending the package? How did the package get across the country by itself?
