Don did our home inspection today and it went way better than I expected. I have gone through the home buying experience once before and my previous inspector is not even in the same league as Don. He took showed up early and was very courteous and open to our concerns on the house. He took home inspections to a whole new level. He explained the process before beginning and he encouraged us to follow him and ask any questions we had. He explained issues in detail and if they were just cosmetic or problematic. He even showed us where gas and water cutoff valves were and how to tell it there was a water leak in the house. He informed us of improvements that could be made and what improvements would not be cost-effective. He came highly recommended from my realtor and I can see why. Not to mention he is a military veteran.
