We have been taking our dog to Dr. Kus for years. He used to be in San Carlos and we followed him to Santee because he is the best, most caring, and resourceful vet we have ever had the pleasure of going to. \r

Exactly one year ago, our then 16 year old shih tzu started having kidney problems along with other ailments that impact older dogs.Knowing how much our dog means to us, Dr. Kus tried everything to get our pet well again. He came up with a combination of fluids and diet change -- it worked! Our dog recovered and he is still thriving a year later, at almost 18 years old! Another vet had even told us to put our dog to sleep because he couldn't (or wouldn't take the time to) find a remedy. Thankfully, we were under the care of Dr. Kus. He is our hero for saving our dog's life! \r

We highly recommend him to anyone looking for a thoughtful, intelligent, and helpful doctor for their family member! He earns an A+.
