Review content:
I loaded my beloved 2002 MINI on a tow dolly and dragged her to Chris and his crew fearing the worst. She had started to overheat and everyone told me she was done for. Just minutes after arriving Chris had me hopeful that there would be more road trips.
Chris immediately saw the broken hose that others had missed. He showed me that no water had mixed with the oil and clean shiny spark plugs—all indications that the engine remained sound. He explained how the thermostat had probably gotten stuck and the science behind it and I left his shop confident in his ability to resurrect my baby.
Having budgeted for an engine rebuild, I gave Chris the OK to fix her up. New brakes on all four, new shocks, new hoses, filters, fluids, and replacing the faulty thermostat and fan installed by the shop who will not be named. He got everything tight and detailed and she feels like a new MINI. No one but Chris and his team will ever touch my MINI again.
