Review content:
I purchased a 99 Volvo Wagon with 150K miles from Mike. Even with that age and mileage, it was clean inside and out. Normal wear on seats but overall in good shape. The car needed some work - parking brake, O2 sensor. He paid for the sensor and we split cost on the brake. The brake work took a little while as there were a bunch of parts involved. He drove the car the 50 miles or so from Fenton to Lansing. After driving it for a couple of days, I realized that one rear brake was overheating. It got diagnosed as a stuck caliper - likely an unfortunate by product of the parking break repair. Also, the actuator switch for the brake lights went out, and a front headlight was out - likely just coincidence. Mike stood by the car and we brought it back to Fenton to have the caliper replaced - and he did the other stuff too at no charge. Again, he brought it back up to Lansing when it was finished.
Thus far, really like the car - daughter took it to college.
Mike does a lot of buying and selling cars for his own company and for sourcing cars for other dealers. He can likely locate and get you a good deal on whatever you are looking for.
