I toured this facility twice in the last couple of years. We went the first time when my daughter was one, and we decided not to send her there at that time because there were ants in the classroom and the room was very small. Then I went back for a second look when my daughter was almost three after some problems at her current daycare. I brought my her and spent an hour there. The classrooms are very noisy because there are no walls between three of them, only short partitions. It has been proven in scientific studies that too much background noise is detrimental to a child's learning, so that in itself is a huge drawback. Then the whole time I was there one of the children was sobbing and crying and the teacher would not offer any comfort. The teacher was very short with the children and never smiled. At one point when they were lined up to come in from outside she said to one of them angrily "Get up! You're not a baby!" after I had been told by an assistant director that they neve
