Review content:
I ordered the mixed grill, shepherds salad with feta, the Mavi Salad and th Mavi burger. Service was great. I'm diabetic and requested no rice and they substituted extra salad as a courtesy. The mixed grill was tasty: ground beef and lamb kebabs, chicken kebabs and kofte. It just went special or had the usually wonderful grilled flavor one associate with Turkish grilled foods. The shepherds salad was nice as well... But no s excuse for waxy tomatoes when fresh local ones are a available.
The Mavi salad as an over dressed mass of "mixed Green's" and not much else. Th Mavi burger , after a couple of bites made its final resting place in the trash. It was a wet flour tortilla wrapped lofted with too much sauce and way over cooked kofte. My partner just wasn't happy at all. A description of what Is in the item and a couple of words on the preparation would be helpful. All in all... It wasn't terrible... But in an area with so many fine Turkish eateries, Mavi needs to step up th food.
