I've used two movers recently. Luigy's Moving Company was better in some ways and overall, but worse in others.
Luigy's was better in general because I felt they really took good care of my stuff. I felt like they packaged things up very well and were careful to put blankets down to protect everything. I really appreciated this care!
One thing I didn't like about the experience was that when I called about the job initially, I specified some things I needed. I needed a couple of mattress bags, and I needed to have things taken to two different locations. The person on the phone confirmed all of this, but when the movers actually showed up, they knew nothing about those specifications. It was like I hadn't said anything! I didn't get bags, so they had to wrap my mattress and it ended up getting bent. But again, the guys were really great overall and moved my things well. They did a much better job protecting what I had and handling it with care.
