I would never recommend this place. It has gone extremely downhill. I have been a patient here for 15 years and the last few years have been horrible. During the course of my pregnancy every physician with the exception of 1, myseriously ""moved out of state"" within a few months of each other. The continuity of care just wasnt there, even leading up to that. The wait in the waiting room was never an issue that I experienced. Mine was much more embarassing, EVERY SINGLE VISIT. EVERY VISIT I was escorted to the examination room, had my blood pressure taken, undressed and was left waiting there with no clothes on for almost an hour EVERY TIME. My last visit was in June 2011 and I waited there, undressed, for 1 hr 40 minutes. During this time I heard the nursing staff and my Dr discussing which steak/seafood house they should go to for dinner in the Tampa area for 30 minutes. I also heard a 10 minute recap of the Dr's latest trip out of the country, all while I was waiting undressed on the table. I thought it couldnt get any worse and then I heard them make fun of a senior citizen, fellow patient, that was waiting with me in the waiting room. The nurse failed to give her proper instructions for the specimen cup in the restroom, so the patient brought it out to her. After they sent her to a room, they proceeded to laugh at her and refer to her as the nurse's ""little friend"" who was ""bringing her a little present"". As if that wasnt aweful enough, the violated HIPPA laws by discussing her medical condition (which was very embarassing) in full detail and rudely saying ""we referred her out, what is she doing back here"". I will never return to this practice for any reason and hope no one else subjects themselves to that embarassment either. They are rude and incapable of being compassionate. I cant believe I'm saying that because years ago the nurses were lovely and I really enjoyed the care of knowledge of the physicians but the new staff gives the place a totally different vibe. Going to these types of female visits is embarassing enough. It's not too much to expect professionalism at all times.
