This business in the Flint area has no qualms about charging exorbitant prices for their services. In my laundry room I had a shut off valve that was corroded. I thought the replacement was going to be a major job so I called Blessing Co. in Grand Blanc. When I called, I was told they would charge $45 for the service call. Since I wasn't home at the time, I told my wife to call me if the price was over $300. She called and sure enough, $400 was their flat rate fee. I was shocked but he told her he may have to cut thru the drywall to get to the pipes. I arrived home 20 minutes later and he was walking out the door. He turned off the water, replaced both of the water valves and was kind enough to hook up the washer lines. For 20 minutes of work, I was charged $400 or the equivalent of $1200 per hour. He didn't have to cut thru the drywall and in essence scared my wife into believing the project was large enough to warrant $400 not 20 minutes of work. \r \r I filed a c
