Review content:
I thought I was the happiest woman in the world. I recently got married and we each brought two children into our new family from previous marriages. The kids were all making good grades, doing great in sports, work was good, and we just bought a new house so each child could have their own room. Little did I know that combining households would cause so much distraught. We kept having arguments break out, among the children and even my new husband and I. Seemed as if we were all walking around on the defense or egg shells. One kid was neat and tidy, one wasn't. One kid complaining the other kid lost the soccer game on purpose and competition everywhere we looked. We finally had enough and called a family counselor. I went through all 6 of our schedules and decided on a Thursday evening. Dr. Mike Sherry was more than helpful understanding our busy schedule for such a large family. He was informative, and kind. Dr. Mike listened as we each took turns discussing the new changes to our family and how we each felt. Needless to say it took more than one session. So we started making it an every Thursday thing. Afterwards we all went out to eat as a family. Before we realized it, the kids were sharing, helping each other, loving and defending one another. I witnessed bonds forming right before my eyes. My husband and I weren't arguing anymore. There was an unspoken respect among us all that brought us closer together. Dr. Sherry helped us each realize the things we needed to change for everyone to get along and live a happy life with each other. And like it or not, we are family now. Dave and I realized where we could improve issues between us. I am so grateful for Dr. Mike Sherry. He made what we thought was impossible, Happen! I wouldn't hesitate telling anyone going through a family crisis about Dr. Mike Sherry and his expertise. *I have since brought a new baby into our family and the kids are happy. They try and help me whenever they can. Dr. Sherry is amazing.
