Review content:
For those people who feel I am only negative in my reviews. Not negative just brutally honest.
Its refreshing to see a company who can get "it". Mastro's has worked out the formula for success. I went last week with my girl friend (for the 8th time) and we were greeted very politely by the host. We were placed on a lovely table and the service was impeccable. We brought two bottles of Kistler Chardonnay and did not receive any type of attitude for doing so. I started with the Shrimp cocktail which were succulent and large. My girlfriend enjoyed her Wedge. I asked the server to space our courses and he did so perfectly. The next course enjoyed my perfectly cooked New York Strip and she had the Sea Bass. Again, it was perfect. Overall our dining experience was fantastic. No wonder the company is opening new locations and the Oceans Club in Newport is also amazing, a place I would highly recommend. What was also great was seeing career servers taking pride in their job. Having cute twenty something's who look good but have no idea on service is not always the best for an operation. If only other restaurants took a page out of Mastro's book so many wouldn't close. The phone call the following day might be very "old school" but it is a nice touch.
Pros: Food, Service, Quality of Product
Cons: Zero!
