Review content:
Let me start out my saying my family and I have been going to Punjab in Arlington for many years, starting when it was in it's original location, and we love the food. I have never had anything I don't like. But after an experience there today, I'm disappointed to say I really don't think I can go back. Apparently, with the economy the way it is, Punjab has decided to take advantage of their customers on holidays. We went in for lunch and were told they didn't have their ""luncheon menu"" today. Now, that seems very odd to me, because the lunch menu has EXACTLY the same things as their regular menu, but guess what? The regular menu is about double the price. So the only logical conlusion we could draw from this was, they want to make more money. We even asked them why they didn't have their lunch menu, and our waiter just smiled at us, even after us saying ""was it so you can make more money off people on a weekday holiday?"" His response ""we do it 3 or 4 times a year"". Is that supposed to make us feel better? It was disgusting to me how they capitalized on their customers like this. On principle, I don't want to go back, and I am very disappointed they would do this, becaue their food is great. I guess they figured out a way to lose some customers... Pros: food Cons: way the business is run
