As a professionally trained chef and industry veteran, I can say right off that this place is one of the top Indian restaurants to come to the Metro Boston area in a very long time. Great curries, tandoor items, naan, biriyani, you name it, its all very well done. HOWEVER BE WARNED, their customer service is just about non-existent. A better rating is ""Pi-s Poor Attitude"" Hey, I'm writing to you like I would speak to a friend. On a recent trip there, the hostess was rude (Okay. BITCHY!), telling us in a snotty, Paris Hilton-esque way that all EMPTY booths were reserved. Well excuse me for being a customer making a request. The call from the umpire is... ""Strike One!"" The waiter was very condescending to my wife and just about ignored her questions (strike two). When I requested my food spiced on the hot side, it came out mild. I mean the tomato-onion chutney had way more zing. Strike three folks. Check and Doggie Bag please. Sorry waiter, you only got a 15% return on your efforts. Be nice to my wife next time, schmuck.\r So a few weeks later, we do take out. Not only was it a ""Your food will be ready in 45 minutes"" , but we had to sit there an additional 10. No apologies to my face or offering to get a glass of water. Nada. Oh and when we get home to unpack din-din...you guessed it. Order screwed up. Didn't get the item I was looking forward to and they forgot the tamarind sauce and tomato-onion chutney we requested. A word of advice, if you go here, do not be afraid to throw attitude back in their direction, and be as explicit as possible. Oh and if you do order take out, open up the order in front of them and make sure that every single thing is as you ordered it. They may not like it, but too friggin' bad. They need to learn that they've accepted their working for you! Oh, and Bon Appetit! (I will be back with another review of this place and let everyone know how they're doing. Hey, it is good food after all! Cheers and God Bless!)\r Pros: Authentic Indian specialties and a Tandoor kitchen that offers a view to the diners. Cons: Poor attitudes. Server and Host's attitudes need major readjusting. Could be better
