Review content:
I stayed there not too long ago. I am not a fan of most Best Western Hotels, but this one was wonderful. The main reason I stayed there is that they have a microwave a frig in the room. Spo when you are traveling with kids you save money on snacks. Their heated pool and spa are great. You get a free continental breakfast which is great for the kids to hold them over to lunch. As in all major San Diego Hotels you can get discount tickets to major attractions PLUS there is a free shuttle service so you do not have to pay for parking or navigate the freeways (San Diego is Freeway Friendly). You can also take the train to the Tiajuane / U.S. Border while you are down there. You are also right by the Gaslamp District whee there are loads of great places to eat.
PROS: Close to everything including Old Town and La Jolla (Great place to visit)
CONS: There are cheaper hotels/motels but you have to stay more on the outskirts of town.
