Review content:
Piazza’s groceries on Middlefield Street in Palo Alto is an excellent choice for an in-between size grocery store with lots of personal service. I LOVE Marissa in the health and beauty aid department. We always get talking about health and travel when I come in. We are both fans of Glastonbury in England--home of the Chalice Well whose waters are famous for healing. This store also has an excellent meat and fish dept. Many health food and organic items can be found through the store--including organic meats. The produce department is large and luscious looking. This store even carries dried goat-milk powder--one of the rare items I have come to depend on since I gave up cow’s milk for health. They sell it cheaper here than any other store in the area. Again--everyone is very friendly and the lines are short--unlike Albertson’s and Safeway usually. The customers are a little snooty and rude sometimes, being an upscale kind of place I guess, and the prices are high for most things, but still, this is a very good place to shop.
