Review content:
Affordable Automotive is a terrible shop. They are unhelpful and not very knowledgeable. I went in for a smog test and, instead of telling me it would be an instant fail, they screwed me out of $40 and lied to my face while they did it. I was talking to the technician performing the test and he told me that everything looked fine, even though I found out later that he had already failed my car. He also tried to tell me that I could go to DMV and get a temporary driving permit, which I had to explain to him was not available to anyone anymore. Personally, I would expect shops that do smog tests to understand basic smog laws. The only thing they put any effort into was trying to set up another appointment for me to come back. I won't be going back there, and no one else should either unless they want to get ripped off.
