Our dog was diagnosed with ACL tear at a Bamfield Hospital ( inside Petsmart) during a four hour ordeal costing 400.00 plus dollars. We then had our x-rays read by several potential surgeons. The cost of repair surgery began at 3,000.00 and we were told there was a good chance of one stiffle surgery following the next.\r A friend recommended Fox Lake Animal Hospital and we made the 45 min drive to the clinic. The surgeon, who does these repairs routinly for around 1,200. was in surgery and we gladly waited. What a kind knowledgable Vet. He diagnosed our dog with Degenerative neuropathy, told us what to expect, gave us meds and wished he could have helped him ( with surgery) Just a month latter with no pain our dog weakened to the point of returning for euthanasia. Everyone was sensitive and loving . The cost was 125.00 for creamation of a 120lb. animal. I can't thank these folks enough. They are true healers in ALL ways.
